Maria Elena Morales, 50, of Pearsall died on July 28, 2020. She was born on November 7, 1969, in Pearsall to Gudalupe H. Morales and Martha Esquivel Morales.
She is preceded in death by her parents and nephews Jason Maldonado and Michael Maldonado.
She is survived by her husband, Pedro E. Martinez Jr.; children Savannah Longoria and husband Robert, Mathew Martinez and wife Stephanie, Scharlie Martinez and husband Robert Longoria Jr., and Sabrina Jo Martinez; bu siblings Katherine Esparza and husband Antonio, Guadalupe Morales Jr. and wife Angelica, Samuel Morales Sr. and Sotero Morales Sr.; and by grandchildren Rolando, Marilena, Mariella, Ethan, Josiah, Johnnie and Matalyn as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included Gilbert, Bryan Cory, Mathew, Esteban, Antonio Jr. and Leonardo.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 31, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. A rosary was recited at 12:30 at the chapel.
Funeral mass was celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Services concluded at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels.
