Jesus A. Garcia died on August 5, 2020 at the age of 80. He was born on February 12, 1940 to Jose F. and Alfonsa A. Garcia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Maria Guadalupe Garcia, grandchild Danny Hickam and 12 siblings.

Garcia is survived by wife Guadalupe C. Garcia, children Juan C. Garcia (Rosa Flores) and Jesse C. (Janet) Garcia, grandchildren Jacob, Devin, Sheena, Alicia, Edward, Rachel, Caleb, Lucas and Evan, 12 great-grandchildren, siblings Teresa (Oscar) Castor and Juanita (Juan) Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 12 at Peters Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Cristo Rey Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
