Perales Jr.

Ramiro “Pepino” Perales Jr. and later known by his nephews as Tio “Pickle”, died on September 11, 2020 in Richardson, Texas. He was born August 19, 1963 to Ramiro Sr. and Elisa Perales in Joliet, Illinois and was raised in Cotulla.

He was preceded in death by his father, sister Trinidad Blanco and nephew Siprano.

Ramiro is survived by his wife Cristina Perales, daughter Stephanie Perales and son Antonio Lopez and siblings Irma (Jose) Perales, Ayda Perales, Delia (Cuba) Pedroso, Juan (Elsa) Perales, Jose (Luz) Perales, Ruben (Veronica) Perales, Jose Alberto (Judy+) Blanco, Juan (Lupe) Blanco, Lucy Blanco and Maria Blanco and many nephews and nieces, cousins and co-workers.

He was a 1982 graduate of Cotulla High School before moving to Dallas in 1984. He worked for Smith Carrol Inc. for 18 years as a supervisor and with UPS Freight for 17 years as a dock worker. He was a Union Brother for the Local 745 Union in Dallas. He was a Christian Brother of True Life Church in Mesquite.

Honorary pallbearers include Juan Blanco, Juan “Wero” Perales, Jose “Nega” Perales, Ruben Perales, Jose Perales Jr., Rudy Ramos Jr., Ricardo “Caco” Ramirez, Antonio “Tony” Lopez.

Visitation was held on September 23 from noon to 5 p.m. for co-workers and family. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 24 for family from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 25 at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas.
