Jose L. Martinez, 87, of Dilley, died Sunday, November 22, 2020, in Cotulla. He was born March 12, 1933 in Geronimo, Texas, to parents Pablo Martinez and Rosa Lopez Martinez.

Jose was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Minga H. Martinez. He was also preceded in death by brothers Domingo Martinez, Lupe Martinez, Sabas Martinez, and Fernando Martinez.

He is survived by his sons Roy Martinez and Jose Luis (Joey) Martinez, both of Dilley, brother Candelario Martinez and sister Dominga Zepeda both of Dilley.

Jose served in the Army as a Corporal from July 14, 1953, to May 18,1955.
