Alvaro “Upoo” Samuel Corona, 19 of Pearsall, died on January 9, 2021. He was born on October 29, 2001 in San Antonio to Selene Segovia Corona and Juan Vidal Corona Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Alvaro is survived by his daughter Madelyn Grace Corona, mother Selene Corona, siblings B.J. Corona (Angelina Salazar), Kristina Gauna (Armando Jr.), Kassandra Corona (Tiny Garza) and Diego Corona. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 17 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel from 3 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral service was held Monday, January 18 at Templo El Olivar at 1 p.m. Interment followed at the Frio County Cemetery.
