Pearsall police are looking for four habitual offenders who were seen on video surveillance footage breaking into vehicles parked at two hotels on the west side of town last week.
Police say the first of two thefts occurred between midnight and 6 a.m. Wednesday, January 20. The hotel’s surveillance cameras captured four individuals taking several tools and other items from the bed of a truck.
The suspects identified as Consuelo Trevino, Kaylin Trevino, Mason Ramos and Horaccio Peralta were seen using bolt cutters to gain access to a tool box from which they stole nearly $5,000 worth of Milwaukee-brand tools, according to a report on the case.
An hour later, officers were dispatched to a hotel less than a half-mile away in reference to a theft. A vehicle owner told officers that over a thousand dollars’ worth of tools had been stolen from inside his truck.
Investigating officers then learned of another man who reported that his pickup truck was broken into and that thieves were able to steal an ice chest and floor jack earlier that morning.
Trevino, Trevino, Ramos and Peralta are listed as wanted on felony warrants.
