Mariano B. Valenzuela died on January 22, 2021 at the age of 54. He was born on April 18, 1966 to Ramon Valenzuela and Norma Benavides.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Adaberto Valenzuela and Theodoro Valenzuela.

Valenzuela is survived by his common law wife Vanessa Maldonado, father Ramon Valenzuela, mother Norma Benavides, siblings Ramon (Magali) Valenzuela, Isabel DeLeon, Adriana Tanguma (Pedro) and Rosalva Valenzuela (Oscar), nephew Juan Tanguma, sister-in-law’s Apolonia (Ruben) Garza and Veronica (Abel) Roman, mother-in-law Alicia Maldonado, aunt Maria Elena Yanez and father-in-law Calvin “Deddy” White. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28 at Peters Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
