Emma Medrano Ventura, 83, of Pearsall, died on February 12, 2021 in San Antonio. She was born in Charlotte on December 25, 1937 to Jose Lopez and Maria Basaldua Medrano.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Benito Ventura.

Emma is survived by her children Benito and Gabby Ventura Jr., Guadalupe Ventura, Raymond and Sylvia Ventura, and Blanca V Vargas, brother Jose Medrano Jr., and sister Mary Loredo, eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was on Thursday, February 25 in the Hurley Funeral Home of Pearsall, at 2 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Mass was held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 26 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment followed in the Catholic East Cemetery in Pearsall.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hurley Funeral Home, Pearsall.
