Juventino Reyes Sr., 87, of Pearsall, died on March 22, 2021 in San Antonio. He was born on March 4, 1934 in Laredo to Ruben Reyes and Olivia Gonzales Reyes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Jorge Reyes, siblings Ruben Reyes Jr., Mauricio “Wicho” Reyes and Eva Perez.

He is survived by his wife Maria Benavides Reyes, children Juventino Reyes Jr. (Ida) of San Antonio and Libbie Reyes (Rene) of Pearsall. He is also survived by his sister Yolanda Ayala, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Reyes owned and operated Reyes Café in Pearsall for over 28 years before his retirement.

There will be no services held at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Updated information is available on the Trevino-Royal Oaks website.
