Irma G. Correa, 78, of Dilley, died on April 12, 2021 at her home. She was born on October 3, 1942 in El Carmen, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Julio Gonzalez and Julia Montemayor Gonzalez.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Valentin Gonzalez, Vicente Gonzalez and Hermelinda Gonzalez Vasquez.

Correa is survived by her husband George Correa of Dilley, children Aida Correa Chapa (Ray), Vicente J. Correa (Vetina), George Correa Jr. (Amaris) and Jennifer Correa, sister Adela Gonzalez Rodriguez, grandchildren Ashely Chapa, Jeremy Chapa, Kristin Correa, Andrew Correa, Melinda Correa, Aaron Correa, Liam Correa, Zaria Correa and Jonathan Correa. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers included George Correa Jr., Vicente Correa, Aaron Correa, Michael Correa, Jeremy Chapa and Ray Chapa.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 15 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Pearsall from 3 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass was celebrated on Friday, April 16 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dilley at 1 p.m. Interment followed at the Dilley Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels.
