Julio C. Colchado, 60, died on March 27, 2021. He was born on September 25, 1960 to Genaro and Juanita Colchado.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Juan Jose Hinojosa, Jose Maria Hinojosa and Javier Moreno.

Colchado is survived by his wife Melissa C. Colchado, children Anita (Jacob) Ayala, Mirna Cantu and Melissa Michelle Cantu, siblings Diana Gruenstiener, Isabel (Rogelio) Benavidez Sr., Genaro F. Colchado, Mauricio Colchado, Melissa Colchado and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 30 at Peters Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 31 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment followed at the Cotulla Southwest Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
