Carlos F. Martinez, 52, of San Antonio, originally of Pearsall, died on May 6, 2021. He was born on April 17, 1969 in Pearsall to Guadalupe Cantu Martinez and Guadalupe Fernandez Martinez.

He is preceded in death by his father Guadalupe Cantu Martinez, stepdaughter Kathy Aranda Guerra, nephew David M. Gonzalez.

Carlos is survived by Sylvia Aranda, his mother Guadalupe Fernandez Martinez, children Cecilia Martinez (Joe Rodriguez), Clarissa Martinez, Ana Carolina Martinez, Carla Martinez, stepdaughter Kristy Aranda Vinton (Rudy Aguirre), sisters Margot Rodriguez (LeRoy) Veronica Gonzalez (David) Anna Lisa Bugarin (Juan) Rose Ann Martinez. He is also survived by grandchildren Samuel, Ariana, Christian, Josiah, Camila, Jovani, Lizette, step-grandchildren Kassandra, George, Alyssa, Berenice, John, Betsaida, Belen, Richard and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 12 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a prayer service at 1 p.m. Interment followed at the Pearsall Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels.
