The city of Pearsall is asking residents to be on the lookout for a team of representatives from GrantWorks who are conducting a survey regarding improvements to the sewer system.
Earlier this week the city released a memo on social media asking residents to cooperate with the men as they gather information required for the CDBG Community Block Grant through the Texas Department of Agriculture.
A map provided by the city shows that the survey team will meet with residents along portions of West Alabama Street, North Mulberry Street and North Peach Streets.
Garrett Hines, Will Hernandez and Kirk Dibbens are members of the surveying team and will have proof of their identification; should anyone have additional questions or concerns they can be directed to City Clerk Krystal Garcia, (830) 334-4160.
City administration is requesting residents fill out an online survey that will outline flooding issues in the area. The survey, conducted by the Nueces Regional Flood Planning Group, asks five questions; the concern, frequency, when flooding occurs, description of what happens when it floods and how long residents have lived in the area.
