I’ve been trying to organize and fix up my house. I’ve always been messy. It’s not like I want to be, but I am. Now that I have four kids, a husband, a job, pets, bills, and all the things that come with adulting… it’s worse.
There’s always stuff everywhere, and it shouldn’t be that way and it’s making problems for my family. So I’m trying to fix that, but now my friends and other family keep making fun of me about all the systems and organizers that I have been adding, and it’s making me self-conscious. Help!
Make your home a positive space. Positive mind, positive vibes, positive life! Don’t let the opinions of others make you doubt your journey of self-improvement. Care for your family and show up for the people in your life who matter but love yourself first. If life as you know it is overwhelming, make yourself a priority. And if your home needs to be a priority, make it one, too.
Be a source of positive energy for all of those and any space around you, and you will leave that light in all the corners of your home and see improvements, quick!
Good vibes always,
Ok, so, is it possible to be too much? Is it possible that I’m doing too well? Should I feel bad that my sister feels like I’ve accomplished more than she has even though I’m three years younger and just got out of college? I want to stay positive, but this is hard!
You should not apologize for being a bright spot! Does the sun ever say it’s sorry when your eyes hurt because it’s out? No! The sun does what it does, and provides us warmth and some plant help, and some other stuff, but It never apologizes! And there’s a good one I’ve read, over and over… If you try to judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it won’t ever amount to anything.
Do what makes your heart happy. Sing at the top of your lungs, whether someone is watching or not. If you are being true to yourself, you cannot be too much, you can only be just enough of yourself to be the perfect you.
Do not let anyone tell you that you have to change to fit the mold of what they want or expected of you. If it’s a leopard print pair of stilettos but it’s what makes your heart sing and dance for joy inside, you wear those shoes! Just try not to roll your ankles, love!
Good vibes always,
