I’m afraid my girlfriend is cheating on me. I feel like she’s very secretive about her phone and computer. I swear she is hiding things from me, and I’m hurt, and I don’t even know how to ask her what’s going on. How do you ask someone about that?
My heart hurts for you, thinking that someone would bring that negativity into your life. Hiding and secrets make the energy around them so sad and difficult. It will most certainly terrorize your energies in every part of your life.
What says to you that she’s hiding things? Is she being secretive or just trying to make sure her things are put away safely, and you don’t often have access to them? Is it possible that she’s maybe hiding a good thing that she hopes to surprise you with?
My friend, you need to reject negativity in your relationship. By worrying and not acting, you are only adding to that bad energy.
You must just come forward and directly address your concerns. If you don’t, darkness and fear will take up residence and consume the positive light in your lives! Don’t let that happen.
Good vibes always,
You have talked about recycling, but there’s really not a lot of places to recycle around here. Is it really worth it to drive a long way in a car for recycling? What are my other options if I can’t recycle stuff that I use?
There are many ways to go about being an earth ally! Reduce, reuse, recycle! I will scream it from the rooftops, I will share it to the world. But you are totally right.
There are times and places that it is hard to be effective. Does it really count to recycle when you have to drive for two hours to reach the facility? Are you truly making a difference at the grocery store by buying organic when it’s still wrapped in four layers of plastic? It’s a very difficult thing to navigate.
Your first goal should be to reduce. Plastics are bad for the environment, especially the single-use type. One drive down a road and you see all the garbage people so carelessly throw out.
We want to be better than that.
Don’t buy water bottles; fill a reusable container that you take with you. Don’t even buy plastic wrap to start with. Do whatever you can to reduce what you end up with.
Next, reuse. Reusable items make such a difference. There are wax wraps to use instead of plastic wraps, silicone bags instead of zipper or sandwich bags, and I personally love my reusable and take-along utensils and straws. No need for picnic packs in my life!
Candle jars and cardboard boxes can easily be reused somewhere else. I wish we were closer to a place that did refilling – soaps, cleaners, beauty products… oh to dream of the zero waste!
So then it’s recycling, right? The best intentions may not work out. Recycling gets contaminated, and the whole batch can be ruined.
South Texas is not a place that offers easy access anyway, which is why we should concentrate on reduction and reuse.
If everyone does just a little bit, it can add up to a lot. Remember that!
Good vibes always,
