Jasper Williams Triplett, 20, died on Sunday, July 19, 2021. He was born May 1, 2001, in Laredo to Slade and Amanda Triplitt.
He is preceded in death by great-grandparents LeRoy and Elizabeth Williams, Jack Elliott, Buck and Billie Elliott, Reader and Frankie Triplitt, grandfather Tommy Triplitt, and uncle Buran Dominy.
Jasper is survived by his parents, sister Grace, great-grandmother Lou Dean Elliott, grandparents Elizabeth Dominy, Andy Triplitt-Odom, and Lynn and Billie K. Clapp, aunts and uncles Lilli and Justin Stryker, Scott and Cathy Triplitt, Sloan and Shannon Triplitt, cousins Danielle and David Martinez, Dylan Dobson, Mary Triplitt, Charlotte and Maggie Stryker, great aunts and uncles Joann Wright, Bennett and Kim Elliott, Cal and Ginny Arrott and numerous other cousins scattered throughout Texas.
Jasper died doing what he enjoyed most in life, riding his horse with his dogs by his side, chasing wild cattle.
Jasper was a 2019 graduate of Cotulla High School. He was a member and past officer of the Cotulla FFA and participated in the La Salle County Junior Livestock Show taking Grand Champion honors with his goats for a number of years. Jasper also showed his goats at major livestock shows around the state where he met old friends and made new ones. Since graduation, Jasper used his extensive knowledge of livestock to help new members of 4-H and FFA with their projects.
