A Dilley man faces felony drug charges after county deputies discovered a cache of narcotics in his home on Tuesday, August 10.
Deputies say the man identified as 35-year-old George Molina had been selling marijuana and cocaine out of the home on Hugo Street.
“We received several calls about constant traffic at this home,” Chief Deputy Peter Salinas said of the raid last week. “Our deputies immediately opened up an investigation.”
During the Tuesday evening search, deputies discovered a felony amount of cocaine that was packaged and ready for sale, according to a report on the case. A further search revealed items indicative of drug trade such as scales, bags and other packaging items.
Molina was arrested and charged with a second-degree felony for the possession of cocaine and a Class B misdemeanor for the possession of marijuana.
The man was transported to the Frio County Jail without further incident.
“We cannot state enough how grateful we are to the citizens who are willing to stand up take back our streets from these narcotics dealers,” the chief deputy said. “It is their tips and concerns that led this investigation. Without their support our deputies could not accomplish investigations like these.”
