Juan Maldonado, 48, died on September 17, 2021. He was born on May 28, 1972 to Federico Maldonado Jr. and Dora Martinez Nieto.
He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents Jesus and Panfila Cortez and his stepfather Alberto Colchado.
Maldonado is survived by his mother, children Juan Maldonado Jr., Manuel Federico Maldonado, Maria Dolores Maldonado, Leonardo Jesus Maldonado, Jose Lorenzo Maldonado, and Jenna Marie Rocha, siblings Federico Maldonado III (Debra), Ana Lydia Maldonado, Melba Linda Adrian Valles, Roberto Javier Colchado (Yolanda), and Alberto Coclchado Jr. He is also survived by two grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 23 at Peters Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were held on Friday, September 2 at 2:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Encinal Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
