Amber Ciara Leal, 31, of Pearsall died on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in San Antonio. She was born April 25, 1990 to Jose Alfredo and Teresa Hernandez Leal in Pearsall.

Amber is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Inocente and Diana Leal, aunt Patricia Aguilar and great-grandfather Leonides Ramirez.

She is survived by her son Calvin Andre Collins, parents Jose and Teresa Leal, siblings Brian and Claire Leal, maternal-grandparents Alex and Selma Hernandez, grandmother San Juanita Marquez Hernandez, great-grandmother Manuela Preciado, Goddaughter Thalia Hernandez, aunts Jennifer Hernandez, Jessica Leal, Julia Aguero, uncles James Hernandez, Joe Alex Hernandez, Juan Marquez, Alex Hernandez, III, Orlando Leal, Albert Leal, Daniel Martinez, Danny Aguilar, numerous cousins, relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held Sunday, October 24 from 4 to 6:45 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Pearsall with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Mass will be held Monday, October 25 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with interment to follow in Frio County Cemetery.
