Ricardo M. Perez, 89, of Pearsall, died on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 11, 1932 in Millett to Perfecto and Emelia Perez.

He is preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, brothers Alfredo, Demencio, Reynaldo Perez, sisters Alicia Perez, Paula Medrano, Elia Villegas, nieces Irene Ramirez, Anita Serban, and Joann Medrano.

Perez is survived by his wife of 50 years Paula R. Perez, children Alejandra Perez-Delgado and husband Albert, Richard Perez Jr., Estella Perez, Jose Perez and wife Jessica, grandchildren Aaron Ricardo Martinez, Joseph and Jacob Perez, siblings Gilberto Perez, Raul Gutierrez, Leonor Perez, Sara Ramirez, Maria Jimenez, and Michela Garcia.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 10 from 2 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 11 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with interment to follow in Frio County Cemetery in Pearsall.
