Matilda Z. Rios

Matilda Z. Rios, 50, died on January 30, 2022. She was born on June 9, 1971 to Eusebio and Beatriz Zertuche.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Rios is survived by her daughters Amanda Rios (Adam), Blanca (Raymond) Mendez, Carla Rios (Jacob) Danelli Ruiz (Brandon Barraza), fiancé Noe Garcia Sr., stepchildren Hermelinda Garcia, Leticia (Cody) Carroll, Noe (Katrina) Garcia Jr., siblings Christopher (Shirley) Zertuche, Maravia (Jesse) Gonzales and 16 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 9 at Peters Funeral Home from 9 to 11 a.m. with a Rosary at 11 a.m. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 9 at noon at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
