Marissa M. Garcia, 67, died on February 21, 2022. She was born on January 1, 1955 to Noe and Carolina Martinez.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Noe Martinez Jr.

Garcia is survived by her husband Daniel C. Garcia, children Desiree (Julian) Marrufo and Daniel N. (Allison) Garcia, siblings Margot Casillas, Melba Garcia, Melissa Alvarado, Myrta Leimkuehler, Nelson Martinez, Norman Martinez and Melinda Martinez, grandchildren Daniella Marrufo, Alec Marrufo, Ana Garcia, and Ryan Garcia.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 25 at Peters Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 26 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Cotulla East Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
