Charo nabs pair of gold medals, Cowgirls fourth at Dilley

Cotulla’s Cowgirls racked up 69 points to finish fourth overall while the Cowboys were sixth in track and field action at the Wolf Pack Relays in Dilley on Wednesday, March 9.
Raeann Charo remained in fine form as she tallied victories in the 100m and 200m dash events once again.
Girls’ results are as follows: 100m dash, first, Raeann Charo, 12.38, third, Aubrianna Cano, 14.02, fifth, Araceli Valles, 14.55; 200m dash, first, Raeann Charo, 26.95, fifth, Araceli Valles, 31.06; long jump, second, Aubrianna Cano, 13’10″, third, Brianna Wilson, 13’8″; shot put, fourth, Jewlissa Cordova, 32’5″; discus, second, Brianna Wilson, 83’5″, sixth, Marianna Romero, 75’8″; triple jump, fourth, Aubrianna Cano, 28’10″; pole vault, third, Mia Garcia, 7’6″, fifth, Jazmine Delgado, 6’6″.
