CLASS 4A REGION IV TRACK & FIELD
Jezzie Leal, Esmeralda Gonzales, Jose Ramirez and Weston Hurst paced Pearsall in action at the Class 4A Region IV track and field championships in Kingsville last week.
Pearsall will not send an athlete to the UIL Track and Field State Championships in Austin in two weeks, although several athletes were on the cusp of earning qualifying bids.
“We were glad to be out competing in Kingsville against some of the best competition Class 4A has to offer,” PHS Head Track Coach Julian Hernandez said. “Multiple athletes hit season bests and personal bests.
“Overall, we were proud of how well they competed and how well we did as a team this season.”
