COUNTY ARRESTS

Sixty-six individuals were arrested in Frio County between Sunday, April 3, and Saturday, May 7, on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges.
Arrests were made by deputies of the Frio County Sheriff’s Office, troopers of the Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, and officers of the Pearsall Police Department.
In addition to those being held on warrants issued in other jurisdictions, suspects taken into custody with arrest times logged at booking in the Frio County Jail were as follows:
Abel Jesus Quinonez, of Pearsall, arrested Sunday, April 3, 12:04 a.m., Capias Pro Fine – failure to appear; evading arrest or detention with vehicle.
Alondra Ramirez, of Detroit, Michigan, arrested Sunday, April 3, 8:25 a.m., three counts – smuggling of persons.
Rey Garcia, of Pearsall, arrested Sunday, April 3, 10:56 a.m., unlawfully carrying a weapon.
Jesse Montez, of Pearsall, arrested Sunday, April 3, 1:02 p.m., evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
Michael Manzanares, of Pearsall, arrested Sunday, April 3, 1:47 p.m., evading arrest or detention with a vehicle; driving while intoxicated.
Leonardo Antonio, of Devine, arrested Monday, April 4, 1:30 a.m., driving while intoxicated.
Richard Eugene Dye, of Pearsall, arrested Tuesday, April 5, 4:17 p.m., possession of a controlled substance.
Anselmo Banda, of Pearsall, arrested Tuesday, April 5, 10:02 p.m., assault causes bodily injury to a family member.
James Rex McCelvey II, of Dilley, arrested Wednesday, April 6, 3:26 p.m., warrant – driving while license is invalid with a previous conviction or suspension; warrant – aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Jesus Gonzalez, of Pearsall, arrested Wednesday, April 6, 10:39 p.m., evading arrest or detention with a vehicle or watercraft.

Victor Cruz, of Pearsall, arrested Thursday, April 7, 11:31 p.m., reckless driving; possession of a controlled substance.
Adolph Palacios, of Pearsall, arrested Friday, April 8, 5:12 p.m., warrant – possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Jorge Nieto, of Houston, arrested Saturday, April 9, 4:16 a.m., seven counts, smuggling of persons.
