12 jailed in La Salle, May 23 – June 5

Twelve individuals were arrested in La Salle County over the past two weeks on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges as well as on warrants issued locally and in other jurisdictions.
Arrests were made by deputies of the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office and officers of the Encinal Police Department.
In addition to those serving commitment by order of the courts and those being held on behalf of other jurisdictions, those taken into custody between Monday, May 23, and Sunday, June 5, with arrest times logged at booking in the La Salle County Jail, were as follows:
Carlos Garza, 17, of Encinal; arrested 6:20 a.m. Thursday, May 26, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class A misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury to a family member; remained in jail Monday, May 6.
David Rene Dominguez, 31, of Taft, Texas; arrested 4:46 p.m. Thursday, May 26, by the Encinal PD; third-degree smuggling of persons (six counts); released on bond after one day, 22 hours.
Lucinda Benavidez, 42, of Cotulla; arrested 2:34 a.m. Saturday, May 28, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor disorderly conduct; released on bond after four hours.
Ashley Nicole Laguna, 24, of Cotulla; arrested 2:34 a.m. Saturday, May 28, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor disorderly conduct; released on bond after four hours.
Kelly Ann Davis, 36, of Encinal; arrested 6:35 a.m. Sunday, May 29, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrants issued by La Salle County Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace for failure to appear in court and driving while license is not valid, warrants issued in La Salle District Court for possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1 and state jail felony failure to appear in court; remained in jail Monday, June 6.
Cinthia Lizbeth Acosta-Deras, 34, of Austin; arrested 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, by the Sheriff’s Office; third-degree felony evading arrest with a motor vehicle; released on bond after 19 hours.
Rodolfo Eliseo Gonzales, 47, of Laredo; arrested 1:29 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, by the Sheriff’s Office; state jail felony unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; remained in jail Monday, June 6.
Jose Esteban Sandoval, 46, of Laredo; arrested 1 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, by the Sheriff’s Office; state jail felony unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; remained in jail Monday, June 6.
Nasario Omar Garcia; 40, of Cotulla; arrested 6:10 p.m. Thursday, June 2, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in La Salle County Court for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while intoxicated; released on bond after 12 hours.
Benjamine Gonzales III, 44, of Dilley; arrested 10:35 a.m. Thursday, June 2, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued in La Salle County Court for failure to appear in court; released on bond after 10 hours.
Victoria Frances Lopez, 32, of Avondale, Ariz.; arrested 11:19 a.m. Friday, June 3, by the Sheriff’s Office; state jail felony driving while intoxicated with a passenger under 15 years of age (three counts); released on bond after one day, nine hours.
Leonardo Jair Rios, 20, of Laredo; arrested 3:01 p.m. Saturday, June 4, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class A misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 3; released on bond after one day.
