The La Salle County A&M Club presented scholarships to Valery Lopez and Bianca Cordova during a ceremony on May 23 during the Cotulla High School Senior Awards and Scholarship Program.
Both girls will be attending Texas A&M University-College Station this fall.
Valery is the daughter of Hilda and Homer Jose Lopez Jr. She received a $1,000 scholarship in memory of Roy G. Martin Sr. and an additional $1,000 on behalf of the La Salle County A&M Club. She will be pursuing a degree in Education to become a teacher.
Bianca is the daughter of Mirosalva Dosal and she received a $2,000 scholarship on behalf of the La Salle County A&M Club. Bianca will be pursuing a degree in Allied Health to become a nurse.
