The temperatures recently have made it painfully obvious that summer is breezing in. We’ll spend more time moving and going than we did before, and plenty of time adventuring, and you probably have some adventures planned, too.

Of course, you can go search the internet for a premade kit, but why do that when you can make the making of the kit the first way to entertain your kids? Once it’s done, just bring it along on all of your upcoming adventures so nothing can slow you down!
What you absolutely need:
A resealable container to fill with your summer essentials – any pouch or container will do, really, it just needs to be big enough to fit items into and easy enough to see into that you can find what you need!
What you might want to fill it with:
Sunscreen / Sunblock
Insect Repellent
Bandages
First Aid ointment
Anti-itch cream
Medications (allergy, pain relief, etc)
Travel-size tissues
Thermometer
Antiseptic wipes
Hand sanitizer
Disposable masks
Chapstick
Tweezers
Cough drops
Ice pack
Don’t be afraid to add your own special or specific items! These are just a few things that you might need to have along during the summer adventures that you wouldn’t always carry with you! Nobody wants a splinter or chapped lips dragging them down during summer fun!
