The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Geronimo and Alligator Creeks Watershed Partnership will offer a free feral hog management event August 25 in Seguin.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon. Advance registration is required at https://tx.ag/Aug25FeralHog.
“The workshop will include classroom presentations and outdoor demonstrations of feral hog trapping systems,” said Evgenia Spears, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension program specialist and watershed coordinator for Geronimo and Alligator creeks, Bryan-College Station. “The classroom discussion will focus on the impacts of feral hogs on watersheds and approaches to feral hog control.”
The program will start with the demonstration of feral hog trapping systems at 3045 Farm-to-Market Road 20. At the conclusion of the outdoor portion of the event, the program will move to the AgriLife Extension office in Guadalupe County, 210 E. Live Oak St.
