Elda Nora Santos Quintanilla, 68, died at home on Sunday, August 21, 2022. She was born on December 27, 1953 to Lauro and Esperanza Santos.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Erasmo Quintanilla Jr.

Elda Nora is survived by her brother Lauro (Elia) Santos Jr. and her sisters Norma Barbour and Idalia Santos Smasal, along with three nieces and one nephew and numerous grand nieces and nephews.

She is known to most as Ms. Q. She worked as the administrative assistant in the medical branch for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Cotulla Unit for approximately nine years.

Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 3 at the Sacred Heart Church in Cotulla. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery on the IH-35 Frontage Rd. in Cotulla.
