Pearsall police arrested a 20-year-old man who was riding a bicycle through a west-side neighborhood on Saturday, September 10, after he was found in possession of illegal narcotics.
According to a report on the case, officers approached Jayden Trevino and noted that his behavior changed and he began to act in a nervous manner.
A drug-detecting canine alerted officers to the backpack Trevino was carrying; a subsequent search revealed that the bag held nearly four grams of methamphetamine, two syringes filled with the illegal narcotic and a scale.
Trevino was transported to the Frio County Jail without further incident and charged with a second-degree felony for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
