36 jailed in Frio, August 23 – September 18

Thirty-six individuals were arrested in Frio County between Friday, August 23, and Sunday, September 18, on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges.
Arrests were made by deputies of the Frio County Sheriff’s Office, troopers of the Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, and officers of the Pearsall Police Department.
In addition to those being held on warrants issued in other jurisdictions, suspects taken into custody with arrest times logged at booking in the Frio County Jail were as follows:
Kenneth Stewart Jr., arrested Friday, August 26, 1:08 a.m., Medina County warrant – violation of probation – possession of a controlled substance.
Rene Verzoza, arrested Friday, August 26, 2:44 p.m., silent abusive call/electronic communications to 911 services.
Johnny Chavera Bazan, arrested Saturday, August 27, 12:45 a.m., assault on a family/household member impeding breath or circulation.
Eric Alvarez, arrested Sunday, August 28, 8:13 a.m., seven counts – smuggling of persons.
Abigail Elizondo, arrested Sunday, August 28, 5:02 p.m., deadly conduct.
Rosario Cruz, arrested Monday, August 29, 12:05 p.m., assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
Joe Hernandez, arrested Monday, August 29, 5:17 p.m., terroristic threat placing the public or substantial group of the public in fear of serious bodily injury..
Desiree Alexis Gallardo, arrested Tuesday, August 30, 1:00 a.m. four counts – abandon, endanger child with intent of returning.
Megan Lizette Rodriguez, arrested Thursday, September 1, 11:44 a.m., driving while intoxicated.
Aqueida Gonzalez Rodriguez, arrested Thursday, September 1, 5:34 p.m. three counts – forgery of a financial instrument; theft of property; fraud using/possessing identifying information, credit card or debit card abuse.
Abraham Sifuentes, arrested Thursday, September 1, 6:11 p.m. five counts – smuggling of persons, evading arrest or detention.
Andres Aaron Ramirez, arrested Thursday, September 1, 6:25 failure to appear – evading arrest or detention with vehicle.
Lisa Flores Moreno, arrested Friday, September 2, 11:07 a.m. criminal mischief, two counts – assault peace officer/judge, terroristic threat against peace officer/judge.
Makayla Shantel Fuentes, arrested Friday, September 2, 5:00 p.m., assault causes bodily injury to family member.
Marla Gunnells, arrested Saturday, September 3, 9:22 a.m., five counts – smuggling of persons; evading arrest/detention with vehicle; parole violation – possession of a controlled substance.

Luis Alvarez, arrested Sunday, September 4, 3:03 p.m., unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; reckless driving.
