The Pearsall Rotary Club will hold its annual fundraising auction over three days at the start of October to support scholarships for Frio County students and a number of local charities.
The popular event is scheduled to go online from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 3-5 at www.pearsallrotaryclub.com and will feature a wide range of goods and services donated for the cause.
Supporters will be able to place bids for items or certificates for goods and services by clicking at the site and then raising their bids in order to win.
All proceeds from the event go to fund charities in Pearsall and Dilley and are also used to award grants to students looking to attend colleges and universities.
“Show your support for your community,” the club noted in its press release for the event, “and get some great deals on items that you may not be able to find anywhere else.”
Traditional donations to the auction include housewares, décor, appliances and tools, toys and gifts, as well as coupons for small businesses in Frio County communities.
