The Southwest Area Regional Transit District (SWART) will make changes to its fare structure beginning on November 1.
Discounts on electronic fare cards will no longer be offered. Electronic fare cards will be fixed at the normal general public fare rates.
SWART seeks comments from the public pertaining to the proposed fare changes. Copies of the proposed fare rates can be obtained by contacting General Manager Sarah Hidalgo-Cook at email@example.com or by calling (830) 278-4155, extension 3009. A copy of the proposed fare changes can also be viewed on the SWART website at www.paseoswart.org.
The deadline to submit a request for a public hearing to provide public comment is set for October 25 at 12 p.m. If there are no requests for a public hearing, the proposed fare changes will begin on November 1.
