Zippy Cheese Rolls
It’s possible you’ve grown tired of my jalapeño and cheese obsession… but it’s possible you’re as obsessed as me. We don’t do a traditional Thanksgiving in my family, because turkey is an allergy. (Who knew you could be allergic to turkey?) These sound like fun to add to my family’s holiday spread… maybe they’re good for yours!

Zippy Cheese Rolls, by Selwyn H. Denson, Retired, and wife Lois
8 ounces cream cheese
1 pound American cheese
1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese
1 pound pasteurized process cheese spread
1 tablespoon garlic powder
12 minced jalapeño peppers
8 ounces chili powder
Soften cream cheese to room temperature; all other cheeses cold. Grate all cheese, except cream cheese. Mix thoroughly all cheeses, garlic powder and jalapeños. Knead well and mold into long rolls (whatever size you want). Roll in chili powder until well covered. Wrap in wax paper. Chill thoroughly before slicing.
