Kraft’s Fantasy Fudge
Recently I reached out to get recipes from friends and family, their “go to” and “from the heart” recipes. For many years, recipes and foods would spread by communicating, and in honor of the holiday season, I decided that literally calling on my friends and neighbors was what my heart was led to do.
“Found this on a jar of Kraft Marshmallow Crème. Have made it in the past and is enjoyed by all.”
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup margarine
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
12 (1 ounce) semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, chopped
1 1/2 cups marshmallow crème
1 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Line 9” square pan with foil. Bring margarine, sugar, and evaporated milk to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil 4 minutes, stirring constantly, until candy reaches 234 degrees. Remove from heat. Add chocolate and marshmallow crème until melted. Add walnuts (if desired) and vanilla, mix well. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Let stand at room temperature for 4 hours. Cut into 1” squares.
