Handprint Christmas Trees
I’m having such a great time digging up old craft ideas that are simple and easy to do with the little ones! This week, I give to you…
Supplies Needed:
craft/construction papers: green, shades of brown, yellow
crafting jewels with a flat side
scissors
pencil
glue
- Using the green paper first, place your own, or have the child place their hand down and trace around it using the pencil. Cut along the shape of the hand. Cut a small piece of the darker brown paper, about a third of the width of the hand size.
- Using the glue, attach the darker brown piece near the bottom of the lighter brown sheet, and the hand, fingers up, glued just above it.
- Cut out the shape of a star from the yellow paper, to use as your tree topper! Attach the star at the top of the green “tree”.
- Use your glue and decorate your tree with the crafting jewels!
These could make fantastic Christmas greeting cards, and they’re perfect to show how much the kids have grown! Happy crafting!
