Paper Plate Snowman
When I was a kid I had a heck of an imagination, and a penchant for creativity. I once decided to make paper plate masks, and have my own little play. I had a great time… my mother wasn’t impressed with me using her plates. But, you win some and you lose some.
White paper plates
Black construction paper
Colored markers
Glue
Optional white glitter
Optional buttons
Get the black construction paper and cut out a top hat shape in a size appropriate (or not) for your paper plate.
Take the paper plate and using the glue, attach the top hat shape in such a way that the plate looks like a head wearing a hat.
Using the markers, draw in the face of your snowman: eyes, mouth, and a carrot nose!
If you have the glitter and/or buttons, feel free to add buttons for the eyes or to decorate his mouth. For the glitter, carefully use your glue and spread it around, then dust the glitter on it to create a shiny effect on his cheeks or on his hat, like he has snow on his hat, too.
Enjoy your art!
