GIFTS FOR LOCAL CHILDREN…
Frio County Sheriff Mike Morse will host a Christmas celebration at Fireman’s Park behind the Frio County Courthouse in downtown Pearsall from 6 p.m. onwards, Friday, December 16, featuring treats for youngsters, refreshments, gifts and a movie screening.
Sheriff Morse reported this week that he and a number of benefactors in Frio County have gathered resources to offer gifts for local children in the family-oriented event.
Visitors to the park will be served kettle corn and hot cocoa; children will have a chance to watch the film “Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas.”
Deputies will assist the children in picking out a Christmas gift.
