Blue Santa, the law enforcement representative of the traditional Santa Claus, arrived under escort by the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office with Pete the Chief Elf, at Cotulla’s historic Plaza Florita in front of the Welhausen School on Monday, December 14 to preside over the distribution of toys and gifts to local children in a festive event made possible by local contributions to the cause.
