Pearsall topped Crystal City in a contest at the AT&T Center in San Antonio then split outings in district play, falling to Floresville in the District 29-4A opener before topping Uvalde on the road on Friday.
Injuries continue to plague the Lady Mavs as the team has struggled to maintain a consistent rotation of players.
In action on December 14 at the AT&T Center, Pearsall surged late to take a 49-43 win.
“We ended the first quarter with the lead as well as going into halftime,” PHS Head Coach Victoria Rodriguez said. “In the third and fourth it was much closer and was back and forth for most of the second half.
“The last few minutes Kristen Morales was sent to the free throw line to make the last four free throws to close the game out for us. I was really proud of her ability to stay composed and get the job done.”
Pearsall then dropped a 43-24 decision to Floresville on December 27 but bounced back with a win over Uvalde Friday evening to even their league mark at 1-1.
