Thirty-two individuals were arrested in Frio County between Tuesday, December 20, and Sunday, January 8, on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges.
Arrests were made by deputies of the Frio County Sheriff’s Office, troopers of the Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, and officers of the Pearsall Police Department.
In addition to those being held on warrants issued in other jurisdictions, suspects taken into custody with arrest times logged at booking in the Frio County Jail were as follows:
Jose Ventura Vasquez, 38, of Moore, arrested Dec. 20, 12:09 p.m., possession of a controlled substance.
Joshua Martin, 30, of Mercedes, arrested Dec. 20, 3 p.m., unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Joe Garcia, 41, of Pearsall, arrested Dec. 20, 4:18 p.m., possession of a controlled substance.
Monica Alfaro, 41, of Laredo, arrested Dec. 22, 4:02 p.m., 4 counts – smuggling of persons, assault on a public servant.
Alton Del Hardcastle, 40, of Moore, arrested Dec. 23, 1:11 a.m., assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
John Zamora, 32, of Pearsall, arrested Dec. 24, 1:07 a.m., forgery of a financial instrument.
Petrita Vasquez, 70, of Pearsall, arrested Dec. 24, 7:01 a.m., driving while intoxicated.
Josiah Justice Peralta, 21, of Pearsall, arrested Dec. 24, 11:52 p.m., resisting arrest, search or transport, interfering with public duties.
Joe Anthony Ortiz, 37, of Pearsall, arrested December 25, 7:22 a.m., burglary of a habitation, violation of parole, terroristic threat against peace officer, 2 counts – assault causing bodily injury, failure to identify or giving false info, burglary of vehicles.
Scott Brody Valenzuela, 37, of Pearsall, arrested Dec. 26, 4:34 a.m., abandon, endanger child, driving while intoxicated with a child, unlawful carrying weapon.
Luciano Morales, 52, of Pearsall, arrested Dec. 27, 3:20 a.m., criminal mischief.
Juan Miguel Soto, 46, of Pearsall, arrested Dec. 27, 1:11 p.m., assault causing bodily injury.
Luis Vasquez, 24, no address listed, arrested Dec. 27, 1:48 p.m., 2 counts – evading arrest, 2 counts – accident involving serious bodily injury, 2 counts – smuggling of person’s with a likelihood of causing serious bodily injury or death.
Larry Ray Miller, 22, of San Antonio, arrested Dec. 27, 2:27 p.m., possession of marijuana, burglary of a building, burglary of vehicles, assault causing bodily injury to a family member, possession of a controlled substance, burglary of a habitation.
Roque Ramirez III, 33, of Dilley, arrested Dec. 28, 3:27 p.m., terroristic threat causing fear of imminent serious bodily injury, capias, injury to a child/elderly causing bodily injury, criminal trespass.
