Roasted Red Potatoes
Air fryers are the new hottest kitchen item to have, it seems. Everybody I knew started to use one, but I had a hard time jumping in because I’m the type to need some guidance in the kitchen. So I wanted to help get you started with something fairly simple if you’re staring at a still-in-package air fryer!
Everyday Air Fryer, a Taste of Home production, 2021
Recipe note: Fragrant rosemary, fresh or dried, gives these red potatoes a distinctive but subtle flavor. Simple to prepare, yet elegant in color and flavor, it’s a wonderful addition to any menu. –Margie Wampler, Butler, PA
Takes 20 minutes, makes 8 servings
2 lbs. small unpeeled red potatoes, cut into wedges
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. minced fresh rosemary or 1 tsp. dried rosemary, crushed
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
- Preheat air fryer to 400°. Drizzle potatoes with olive oil. Sprinkle with rosemary, garlic salt, and pepper; toss gently to coat.
- Place on ungreased tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until the potato wedges are golden brown and tender, 10-12 minutes, stirring once.
