Gooey Butter Cake
I once happened upon a shop that makes custom ice cream sandwiches. You can choose from a variety of cookies, and one labeled “gooey butter” caught my attention. A love affair was born, and now Gooey Butter Cake has a piece of my heart.
From Aggies, Moms, & Apple Pie, edited by Edna M. Smith, 1987
As provided by Barbra Mouton, of the Orange County Club
