Alejandro M. Elizondo, 72, of Pearsall, died on March 1, 2023. He was born on April 21, 1950, in Pearsall to Eliseo Elizondo and Clara Martinez Elizondo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Julia Velasquez Elizondo and sister Hortencia Elizondo Martinez.

Alejandro is survived by his children Elizabeth Melia (Sean) of Oceanside, California, Alejandro Elizondo Jr. (Veronica) of Pearsall, Rosemarie Aguilar of Plainfield, Illinois, James Elizondo (Crystal) of Pearsall, John Elizondo (Amber) of Pearsall, brothers and sisters Carmen Samaniego (Benny), Cruz Saldana (Juan), Luis Elizondo (Debbie), Candelario Elizondo, John Elizondo. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and by numerous nieces, nephews.

Pallbearers included Alejandro Elizondo Jr., James Elizondo, John Elizondo, Jose Jasso, Alex Elizondo III, and Aaron Elizondo.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 6 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Pearsall from 3 to 9 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 7 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall at 10 a.m. Interment followed at the Frio County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangments were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels.
