Irma Ortiz, 78, of Dilley, died on March 24, 2023 in Pearsall. She was born on November 22, 1944 in Cotulla to Alfredo Herrera and Frances Moreno Herrera.

She is preceded in death by her parents and children Oscar Ortiz and Rubina Ortiz.

Irma is survived by her husband Juan Garcia, children Sophia Molina, Leonides Ortiz (Patricia), Melissa Luna (Santi), Laura Ortiz and Dimas Ortiz, siblings Albert Herrera and Rosita Ramirez. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 28 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley from 3 to 9 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass was celebrated on Wednesday, March 29 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dilley at 9:30 a.m. Interment followed at the Dilley Cemetery.

Funeral arrangement were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels.
