Carlos “Chale” Garcia, 73, of Pearsall, died on March 29, 2023. He was born on July 4, 1949 in Pearsall to Jose F. Garcia and Canuta Aguilar Garcia.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Mary Garcia Harrington, George “CoCe” Garcia and Jose “Pepe” Garcia.

Chale is survived by his children Carlos Garcia Jr., Isaiah Garcia and Melisa Garcia (Martin Estrada), granddaughter Melody Estrada, siblings Antonio Aguilar Garcia, Juanita Garcia Trevino and Gloria Garcia. Pallbearers included Carlos Garcia Jr., Isaiah Garcia, Martin Estrada, Melody Estrada, Crispin Trevino and Ricky Muniz.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 4 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Pearsall from 5 to 9 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass was celebrated on Wednesday, April 5 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall at 10 a.m. Services concluded after mass.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Pearsall.
