Jose Rodriguez Dozal, 71, died on March 15, 20231. He was born on September 8, 1951 to Juan and Eustolia Dozal.

He is preceded in death by his parents and numerous siblings.

Dozal is survived by his wife Maria Dozal Puebla, children Antonio Dozal (Stephanie Vargas), Lucinda (Jose Luis) De Leon, Jose Juan (Aida) Dozal, Mirosalva Dozal (Arturo Cordova), Petra (Juan Carlos) Benavidez and his brother Ramon Dozal Rodriguez. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 22, at Peters Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Services were held on Thursday, March 23 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment followed at the Cristo Rey Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
