Lori Ramirez
Lori Ann Ramirez has announced her candidacy for election to Place 2 on the Dilley City Council.
The candidate is a native of the community and has established a 30-year career in healthcare-related fields, serving in capacities ranging from mental health aide to caring for the elderly.
“Most everyone knows me from my singing career with my band Tueno, and from church,” Ramirez said. “I’m 51 years old, born and raised in Dilley.
“Ernesto ‘Coy’ and Margarita Aguilar were my grandparents and role models,” the candidate said.
Ramirez has three sons and one grandson.
“Let your vote for me be your voice heard,” the candidate said. “I will humbly serve my community and the people of Dilley. I respectfully ask the people for their support.”
Early voting in the municipal election will continue for two weeks before election day, Saturday, May 6, at City Hall.
