The Dilley High School Grey Wolf Band earned the coveted Sweepstakes trophy for top scores upon competing in the annual University Interscholastic League Concert & Sightreading Contest in the Raul A Gonzales Fine Arts Center at Eagle Pass on Thursday, March 30. Students performed a set of rehearsed concert pieces for judges and were then given sheet music for a concert piece they had never seen before, given a limited time to study it and then performed it for the judging panel.
